Making a Global Footprint

Thanks to strong donor support last year, CBM served millions of children, women and men with disabilities in the world's poorest countries.

Global Impact StoryThe impact of each donated dollar was magnified by CBM’s worldwide partnerships and strengthened through sustainable solutions developed in 73 of the world’s poorest countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

CBM’s work in the poorest communities helps provide people with disabilities access to healthcare, medication, education and rehabilitation services. CBM also advocates for the rights of people with disabilities, actively raising awareness and sensitizing others about the realities of disabilities.

In 2012, CBM worked with 624 local partner organizations, including churches, Christian organizations, government agencies and other non-government organizations. By mobilizing local partner organizations with the knowledge and resources to help their communities, CBM establishes local solutions that can grow and thrive at the grassroots level to make a difference from within.
