Ensuring Life-Long Eye Care for Children
The Children's Vision Fund was founded by CBM donors Dr. Alan C. and Ginger Jones of Texas to empower CBM’s pediatric medical eye care training programs in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Through their overseas volunteer work, Alan and Ginger have personally seen – up close – the devastating consequences of untreated eye diseases on children in developing countries. Blindness and poor vision can rob children of the opportunity to attend school, learn a trade, and provide for themselves as they grow—leaving them instead in a lonely world of darkness. With no hope, there is no future.
But Alan and Ginger are out to change that. And, they are asking for your support.
By joining Alan and Ginger through Children's Vision Fund, you will help CBM to train local pediatric ophthalmologists and support staff to deliver skilled eye care that is needed by the world’s most desperate children for years to come.
All gifts given to the Children's Vision Fund will provide annual operating income and program revenue for CBM’s training programs—forever. The fund is carefully managed to protect the principal which grows over time, to make increasing investments in the training of medical staff to treat children with vision impairments.
The perpetual nature of the Children's Vision Fund ensures that your gift will go on giving long after your lifetime.
