In the field, CBM works with indigenous partners and local governments to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
By building competency with indigenous partners such as local faith-based groups, local governments or non-government organizations, CBM can better ensure solutions will remain long-term within communities for people with disabilities.
CBM applies stringent standards to partner selection and assessment according to international criteria. This helps to ensure that CBM partners can work sustainably and deliver the highest-quality support to the areas where it is needed most. A major component of CBM’s partner strategy is to align with larger, local field organizations that have the capacity to serve a broader range of needs and deploy strong outreach programs to access more people with disabilities. Our newer partners have scalability to expand services as needs change.
By developing strong partnerships, CBM can serve more people with fewer resources.
