Combined Federal Campaign

Since 2003, federal employees and military personnel have supported CBM’s (Christian Blind Mission) work through gifts and designations distributed through the Combined Federal Campaign.

Thousands of children and adults have been touched annually through the generosity of your gifts. Dollars are used for a variety of life-changing initiatives—from the prevention and treatment of disability and blindness to funding schools for blind children, those with hearing impairment and orthopedic problems.

Distribution of Vitamin A to prevent Childhood Blindness, Mectizan to prevent River Blindness and Cataract Surgery to restore sight impacts the lives of children on an almost daily basis, with the help of partners and Combined Federal Campaign members.

CBM also has economic empowerment or micro-finance programs in place, serving people with blindness and disability.  Disability is then replaced by ability, isolation becomes inclusion, and dependence evolves into independence and confidence.  Livelihoods are restored; families and communities are strengthened.

There are many opportunities to serve those with blindness and disability in the world’s poorest regions.  CBM can be trusted to reach as many needy people as possible with sustaining and long-term solutions.  The needs are still great we need your help!
